Part of the mandate of the Annapolis Heritage Society is to acquire, preserve and display artifacts with local provenance; that is, those produced or used in the Annapolis Royal area throughout its history. The ground floor of the O’Dell House Museum is devoted to presenting those rooms as they might have appeared in the late 19th century using artifacts from the society’s collection. The second floor contains three galleries that permit seasonal exhibits and the chance to display more obscure objects from the artifacts collection.
