It is winter in Annapolis Royal and there is snow on the South Mountain. The Sinclair Inn Museum and North Hills Museum are closed after a busy summer season, but the O’Dell House Museum is open for off-season hours for your museological or genealogical needs.

This statue of French expedition leader Sieur de Mons stands on the Fort Anne grounds in Annapolis Royal, overlooking the basin and lands he claimed for France in 1604.
